View from Section 137: Gameday!

Kentucky is in Gainesville for ESPN’s Gameday. The show is starting at 11am and there is sure to be a lot of stories about your Boys in Blue. Speaking of being in blue, this is another road test for the Wildcats. The Cats are miserable on the road and that needs to stop to have any shot of winning the SEC. Kentucky is in 3rd place behind the Gators and Tennessee and losing this one would make the winning the East almost impossible.

Lets look at some of the keys to the game tonight.

[LIST]
[*]Josh Harrellson has to look at the basket. He hasn’t been a shadow of what he was in the Louisville game. Harrellson needs a double double…end of story..
[*]Brandon Knight and Eloy Vargas have Florida ties and could be a factor in the game today. Knight told the media he was surprised by all the questions about going back home to play. It is the first time he has played at home in front of a lot of friends and family.
[*]Darius Miller better play good today.
[*]Will we see more of the bench today? I have heard from fans all week that Cal needs to have a deeper bench. I think we will see the same main 6 guys play and about 5 minutes of Vargas. I would love to see Polson, Hood, and Poole but I’d be surprised if we did more than 2 minutes.
[*]Kentucky is favored by 1.5 points.
[*]For Kentucky to become an elite team they have to win on the road. If you can’t do that consistently what makes anyone think this team can make a run in the NCAA tournament?
