If our traffic numbers are any indication, the BBN is hyped up about this football team. You stopped by in huge numbers to check out our coverage of what was hopefully a turning point for this program. We really appreciate it. As fans ourselves, we are just as excited as you are!
On Friday, I had the opportunity to check out one of Kentucky’s most coveted targets, top-ranked running back Damien Harris. Madison Southern came to town to take on the Dunbar Bulldogs. I have to tell you, this kid is something special to watch. I intended to get my shots and head back home by halftime, but after two quick touchdown runs I was hooked. I couldn’t bring myself to leave. Harris created an energy and excitement that seemed to grow with every touch of the ball. I’m no expert judge of football talent, but he appeared to be a playmaker in every sense of the word. He certainly passed my eye test. I hope we get to see him break loose one day in Commonwealth Stadium. Get out to see him if you get the chance.
