The Cats are up 40-29 on the play of (who else?) Josh ‘Jorts’ Harrellson. Kentucky is spreading the wealth around as seven Cats have scored so far (Jones -10, Lamb-9, Harrellson-8, Knight-5, Liggins-3, Miller-3, Vargas-2). Oddly enough it’s the 3-point shooting that is the difference in the game as Kentucky went 4 of 9 from downtown and Vandy is 0 of 4.
This game is pretty much “must win” for Kentucky, as a loss will put them 2 games back and a second-place finish out of reach. That means the Cats will have to play an additional game in the SEC tournament. A win tonight would at least put the Cats even with the ‘Dores and it would be decided this weekend.
I hope Shabazz Muhammad and Torian Graham are enjoying the game…
