What Do the Cats Need to Remember?

Here we are again. The dreaded road game is upon us. Wildcat fans across the Bluegrass have a bad feeling in the pit of their stomach. The feeling that you try to hide and push away and ignore. The feeling that our hearts may get broken once again by our beloved boys in blue.

There is only one way to sweep this feeling away, and that is to get this final win on the road. So many implications will come from this game: Sealing the #2 seed in the East, Getting over the proverbial “hump” in close road games, and of course beating Bruce Pearl and his ugly orange jacket. This has me thinking, what is the number one thing Kentucky needs to remember to pull out the win tomorrow in Knoxville?

Effort. I’m talking about 100% full out effort for the entire 40 minutes. No sitting back on your heels, No leaving wide open shooters, No getting a lead and letting the other team back in the game.
The Cats need to remember to go all out the whole game and play for something bigger than them. They need to play for the first round bye in the SEC tourney and for pride of the entire Big Blue Nation.
