Twenty-six. Twenty-six Southeastern Conference Tournament Championships in Kentucky basketball history. What do the Cats need to do to win number twenty-seven this weekend?

Play as a team - No Terrence Jones driving down the lane missing a 4 foot shot, with an open player on the perimeter. No more letting opposing teams dribble all the way to the basket untouched with help defense nowhere to be found. To make it to Sunday, let alone win the championship for the second year in a row, the Cats will need to play as a team.

THREE! – It’s a known fact this team plays well, almost unstoppable, when the shots are falling. One thing that has plagued this team throughout the season is their attitude when the baskets go unmade. Unlike our all-star team last season, this team is still learning how to keep up the defensive intensity when things don’t go their way on the offensive end of the floor. The last two games have been very positive for this team in overcoming scoring droughts. In order for success, this will need to continue.

Brandon Knight – If there is one thing we have learned this year, when Brandon Knight struggles or has a bad game, so does the team. Knight’s success = Kentucky success.

What is the number one thing you think the Cat’s need to do in order to bring home the tourney championship?
