Patterson also pulled down 12 rebounds, 4 blocks and an assist in his 36:47 as a starter. Houston is quickly becoming my favorite NBA team with both of these former Cats leading the way.
Nazr Mohammed came off the bench again for Oklahoma City in their win over his former team (Charlotte) 99-82. Mohammed went only 2 of 4 from the field and missed both of his free-throw attempts for 4 points total. He finished with 3 rebounds, 2 steals and a block in just over 14 minutes.
Keith Bogans continues to start as the Bulls drop a rare game to Indiana 115-108. Bogans missed all 3 of his shots (all from long range) and completed his 14:46 of play with 3 assists as his only other stat.
Tayshaun Prince had a good game as the Pistons dropped the Nicks 99-95. Prince totaled 16 points on 8 of 17 shooting (missed all 3 from downtown, missed his only free throw attempt). He was effective on defense as well, adding 2 steals and 3 rebounds to his 4 assists. Prince played 32 minutes.
Jamaal Magloire came off the bench for Miami in their 106-85 throttling of Atlanta. Magloire got only 4 points in nearly 17 minutes of play, but it was on 2 of 2 shooting. He also pulled down 9 rebounds.
Orlando beat Denver 85-82, but Daniel Orton did not play.
Jodie Meeks led Philadelphia past DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings, 102-80. Meeks had an off game in his nearly 35 minutes of play, shooting only 3 of 11 (1 of 6 from 3-point land) for 7 points total. His stat sheet showed 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals as well.
DeMarcus Cousins earned Player of the Game accolades for his nearly 34 minutes of play. Cousins went 6 of 13 from the field and 7 of 11 from the line for 19 points total. He finished his double-double with 12 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal.
John Wall continues his Rookie of the Year quest with 21 points against Toronto, but it wasn’t enough as the Wizards lose 116-107. Wall shot 5 of 14 from the field and 10 of 12 from the line, finishing up with 7 assists and 2 rebounds.
