Revenge is Sweet, Cats topple Mountaineers 71-63

The Cats came out strong to start the game, with Brandon Knight on fire. Knight went for a career high 30 points after only notching two points in their win against Princeton on Thursday. After a great start to the game, West Virginia came storming back to take a lead into halftime, after an odd last minute of play in the half.

To start the second half, Kentucky quickly overcame the 8pt halftime deficit to take the lead, and from that point controlled the game. Holding WVU to only 22 points in the second half, the Cats looked poised and ready to roll on to the Sweet Sixteen.

Up Next, Kentucky will take their talents to New Jersey and play the winner of the Ohio State/George Mason game.

Great win, and it feels good! GO CATS!
