The buzz today was Trevor Lacey had dropped Kentucky off his list and was going to decide between Alabama and Auburn.
Well, Trevor says that isn’t true.
I got a call from Trevor this evening and he wanted to set things straight with what a source told Nation of Blue’s Garrett Tucker.
Trevor said that he hasn’t dropped Kentucky off of his list and that he will be deciding between Alabama and Kentucky.
He said that he was really excited by the tournament run that Kentucky was on.
Trevor said that Coach Orlando Antigua called him Monday to see how things were going.
I asked Trevor if Brandon Knight staying or going would influence his decision and he said,” I know I wouldn’t get as much playing time, but that still doesn’t influence my decision.”
I also asked Trevor about Alabama’s NIT game that he attended and he really enjoyed it. He thinks they have a great shot to win the tournament.
Trevor has also been dealing with a knee injury, but he said everything was fine and it was getting better.
Trevor calling me shows that Kentucky is still in the mix and he wants to make sure that everyone still knows it.
