NBA of the Day 04-04-2011

Rajon Rondo and the Celtics defeated Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons 101-90. Rondo struggled with his shooting, sinking only 2 of 8 for 4 points total. He did garner 14 assists, 3 rebounds and a steal in just under 34 minutes of play.

Tayshaun Prince totaled more points, but didn’t shoot much better. He got 16 points on 4 of 11 from the field and 5 of 6 from the line. It probably helped that 3 of his makes were from long distance. Prince finished with 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals in 33:19.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

Patrick Patterson came off the bench for 8 points on 4 of 5 shooting. He only played for 16:30, but he tallied 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal in that time.
