When John Calipari skipped a workout with top 2012 recruit Perry Ellis to go and watch Joseph Uchebo it had people talking that Kentucky could land the 6’9″ rebounding machine from Nigeria.
Uchebo has taken notice and has Kentucky listed with 2 others according to Derek Medlin, a contributing writer to the North Carolina State Scout affiliate Pack Pride.

Apparently Joseph Uchebo has narrowed his list to FSU, WF and Kentucky
Uchebo is from Word of God Academy, which is also John Wall’s alma mater, and it is also where recruit 2012 Torian Graham plays.
There hasn’t been any word of an offer to Uchebo, but the signing deadline really doesn’t matter since he has already signed a LOI with NC State and been released.
Players can only sign one LOI, and if they go to another school after being released, they can sign Financial Aid papers to show their commitment to the school.
