Indiana will once again being enjoying March Madness from the comfort of their own homes. The NCAA didn’t select them, the NIT didn’t want them. The College Basketball Invitational (CBI) was the only tournament that wanted the Hoosiers. According to indystar.com Indiana Athletic director Fred Glass declined the offer to play in the CBI.
Here is what Glass had to say.
“Finances wouldn’t be an issue if we thought it made sense,” Glass told The Star. “But we’re Indiana. We don’t play in the CBI.”
