Former Louisville commit Rodney Purvis has a final list of Kentucky, Louisville, Duke, and North Carolina State.
Some think Missouri could possibly be added due to former Louisville assistant Tim Fuller being a new assistant on new coach Frank Haith’s staff.
Purvis’ AAU coach Tony Edwards thinks there is a shot that Missouri could end up in the mix.

“They’re focused really, to honest with you, they’ve got two weeks of school left,” Edwards said.
“He’s got two weeks of school left. He’s got a course he’s got to take this summer as part of his reclassification, and then after they get all that straight, they’ll jump into the recruiting. Right now, they’re talking people, feeling them out and really not in a hurry to get on anyone’s campus, just trying to develop a relationship to see if that touchy-feeling thing can develop with someone outside of Tim. That was part of the whole de-commitment with Louisville was to give Louisville’s staff a chance to see if they can develop that relationship but also to be fair to themselves as a family to see if someone else can do it. They’re not going to entertain a list of 15 schools or anything like that, but I don’t know if you can say it’s down to four.”
The coach added Purvis isn’t necessarily looking to remain near Raleigh
“I think again, it comes down to who does the best job recruiting him and his family,” Edwards said.
“They’ve got to be comfortable where he is. He was prepared to go to Louisville until the staff left, so if that type of develop with someone, they’re more than open to exploring that situation. I don’t think it’s a matter of staying close to home, to be honest with you. Being close to home makes it easier because of how they are.”
Missouri is still likely fighting an uphill battle if it’s going to try to convince Purvis to not only leave North Carolina but spurn offers from some of the premier programs in college basketball. But it sounds like there’s still a chance he could at least consider the Tigers, particularly with Fuller on the staff.
