Mark Pope takes new job

Former Kentucky Wildcat, Mark Pope, has left Wake Forest to take assistant coaching job at BYU.

Pope has been with Wake Forest the past season as an assistant coach. Prior to that, Pope was director of basketball operations for Mark Fox at Georiga in the 2009-2010 season.

Pope had this to say: “I’m grateful to Coach Rose for the opportunity to be a part of BYU basketball, It’s been fun to watch Coach Rose and his staff as they’ve built BYU into a great program. I can’t wait to get started and to help the team continue to be successful.”
