Teague Hits Game-Winner to Down Kentucky All-Stars, 105-103

When Marquis Teague hits game winning shots from this point on, it will be beneficial to Kentucky.

But in last night’s annual boys’ all-star between Indiana and Kentucky, Teague hit a jumper with nine-tenths of a second left, putting the Indiana all-stars up for good.

It was a packed house in Bellarmine University’s Knights Hall to watch a highly anticipated game between border states, where many Division-1 college basketball players faced off.

Kentucky-bound Teague finished the night with 18 points, in what he considered an off-night. But he stepped-up when it mattered most, hitting a clutch mid-range jumper from the circle to give Indiana a 2-point victory.

Here is what Teague had to say after the game(source)…
”I’d been missing the whole game, but I just wanted to come down and make a play. Whatever they gave me; he gave me the pull-up so I just shot it. I was happy to knock it down that time.”
Other players from teams in the SEC included Anthony Hickey (LSU/19 points) and Ryan Taylor (Louisville/17 points).

Butler signee Andrew Smeathers from Bargersville, Indiana led all scorers with 21 points.
