I found a lot of interesting stuff today, and instead of tweeting about it, I figured it would be better to write an article.
Two of the biggest risers in the Class of 2012 made some noise Thursday, as they had some very interesting things to say about their recruitment.
Devonta Pollard, a native of Mississippi, told Clint Jackson of Rivals.com that he had received three new offers as of late: Duke, North Carolina State, and Kentucky.
It has been rumored that Pollard was expressing interest in UK, and an offer won’t hurt his feelings either.
The biggest commodity of the spring period was none other than Mitch McGary. Here are a series of tweets I found on McGary, from Jackson, as well as Alex Schwartz:
Tim McGary, Mitch’s dad, says he’s enjoyed getting to know Marcus Paige’s father.

Mitch McGary said Maryland is “without a doubt” coming after him the hardest.
Another interesting thing to note is about a 2013 recruit from Georgia in Brannen Greene. Greene, who has already had close to 30 schools call him since coaches could contact the rising-juniors, is also a big risers and has performed well throughout the spring.
It should be interesting to see how all of these recruits play out.
