Two New BB Recruits Showing up on Kentucky’s Radar

In the past 24 hours, two new names for the 2012 class have popped up with Kentucky interest. The first was Terry Henderson, a 6’ 5” SG out of Neuse Christian Academy in Raleigh, NC. Henderson is being called the ‘best-kept secret’ in Raleigh, surpassing 2,000 career points in January of this year. You read that right – 2,000 points halfway through his junior year of high school. Henderson is as yet unranked, but expect that to change before the dust settles on the 2012 class. The best-kept secret is a secret no more, and Kentucky’s on the phone.

The second name was Landen Lucas, a 6’ 8” C out of Portland, who is currently attending Findlay Prep. Lucas is said to have great fundamentals and defensive ability, but needs to work on his outside shot and build strength. His offers are mostly from Washington and Oregon schools, but after a couple of seasons at Findlay Prep, he should see more attention. And outside shot and strength can be fixed.
