John Calipari traveled to Akron yesterday to check out the LeBron James Academy.
He didn’t stay there long.
Cal is back at Indy today to watch Wichita Heights forward Perry Ellis for the 4th time.

Fonda Ellis, Perry’s mother, was very impressed that coaches came back to see her son.
“Bill(Self), Josh(Pastner), and Cal all came back to watch Perry today, and I am impressed,” she sent via text.
Coach Cal has definitely made Perry a priority, and from his output on the court in Indy, it isn’t hard to see why.
