We usually don’t hear much about the guys who are going to be sophomores in high school this fall (heck, we don’t even have any commits from juniors yet), but we do know some of them. We know that Cal has been watching guys like Cliff Alexander, Leron Black, Dakari Johnson, Wayne Selden and Andrew Wiggins. [URL=”http://www.zagsblog.com/2011/07/12/2014-star-theo-pinson-drawing-big-name-coaches/”]Zagsblog is reporting[/URL] this morning that [URL=”http://www.wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile.php?Contact_ID=914&Recruit=Theo-Pinson”]Theo Pinson[/URL] has joined Wayne Selden as the only 2014 recruits to hold offers from Kentucky so far.
Pinson is ranked #1 in the class by ESPN, which is the only outlet to rank the 2014 recruits at this point. He is a 6′ 6” 185 lb wing man from North Carolina. Pinson played for Oak Ridge last year, but is transferring to Wesleyan Christian Academy for his sophomore year. He also holds offers from the likes of Duke, North Carolina and NC State among others.
