Thomas is ranked #5 in the 2013 class by ESPN, #6 by Rivals, Scout and 247sports (PrepStar) and #7 by Maxpreps.
Thomas showed out last weekend at the Adidas invitational in Indy, playing for the Colorado Hawks. He left the first game after two quick technical fouls, but in the second game was referred to as an “[URL=”http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1237937″]extreme scorer[/URL]”. Calipari was there to watch at both of his games.
In addition to Kentucky, Thomas holds offers from Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Louisville, Memphis, Seton Hall, Tennessee and Xavier. He has also received interest from UConn, Georgetown, North Carolina, Ohio State and Texas.
