Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports is reporting the Texas Longhorns are interested in luring Louisville football coach Charlie Strong to Texas to take over for the recently departed Mack Brown. Strong is 37-15 in four seasons at Louisville.

The Texas Longhorns have inquired about Louisville head coach Charlie Strong, sources told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday.
Strong has been considered a possible candidate for the vacant Longhorns head coaching position since former coach Mack Brown’s ousting.
If you recall, Strong flirted with the Tennessee job after last season, but ultimately decided to stay at Louisville. Will he do the same thing this year or will he take the Texas job if it’s offered?
