Leron Black Done for Summer

Leron Black, a rising sophomore, has expressed a ton of interest in Kentucky during his young high school career. He also has had a great summer, leading John Calipari and Kentucky to watch him more.

However, after an ankle injury over the weekend, Black has decided to shut it down. This news coming from TigerSportsReport.com, Memphis’ Rivals affiliate.

Thankfully the injury is nothing more than a rolled ankle; here is what Black’s coach had to say:
The injury was not very serious, but there’s no reason to push things. Memphis Thunder Elite coach Norton Hurd is taking the cautious approach.

“I think we’re gonna shut him down,” Hurd said. “He tweaked his ankle and I don’t want to take any chances.”
Keep an eye out for Black in the city of Memphis. With Jarnell Stokes’ departure to Oak Hill, Black could emerge as the basketball king in the city.
