Former Kentucky wide receiver Randall Cobb was back on the Packers practice field today. The Green Bay wide receiver broke his leg in early October, was glad to be back practicing with his teammates.
“I’ve never been in a position where I’ve had to miss games like this,” he said. “It’s very tough. It’s very frustrating. But it was still a blessing because it could have been a lot worse than it was. I try to have a positive outlook on where I’m at and the position I’m in.”
Cobb said it was fun to get back on the practice field.
“I’m very grateful and humbled to be back out there with my teammates and just being back in the action,” said Cobb. “Everybody was making fun of me because I was smiling from ear to ear, from getting my helmet back, getting a new pair of cleats and just being at practice. It’s a very good day for me, I’d say.
Early Christmas present, for sure.”
If the Packers can find a way to make the playoffs, maybe Cobb will be healthy enough to play.
