Alex Poythress, along with his twin sister, visited Kentucky this past week and it sounded like it went really, really well.

Poythress’ sister came with him because she was visiting the Kentucky Volleyball team.
National Recruiting Spotlight caught up with Alex to talk about his visit.

However, the most important thing about his visit is probably that his twin sister got to accompany him.
“My favorite part of the visit is how they included my sister and how we were able to talk to the volleyball coaches,” Poythress continued. “We also saw the volleyball team practice.”
When asked if he wants to go to school with his sister, Poythress indicated he thinks he might.
“I kind of want to go to college with her, we’re pretty close,” Poythress said. He says he doesn’t know which schools she likes and that she hasn’t been on any other visits except for Kentucky.
Although, unlike his sister, Poythress has visited many schools. “I’ve been to Vanderbilt, Georgia, Florida, Memphis, Alabama and Tennessee before,” Poythress said. “Kentucky was probably my favorite, I have no other visits planned.”
As for a timetable, Poythress isn’t sure when he will commit or take his visits but he does want to cut his list soon. Said Poythress, “My list should be cut in a couple of days to five schools, I’m going to try to take official visits to all five.”
