So the July period has come and gone and Kentucky has a total of zero commits… That can’t be right can it? In a time where it seems that coach Cal can get anyone he wants, even if they’re already committed to another school (I’m looking at you T.Jones) The class of 2012 is bare.
Fear not Big Blue Nation, as your collective patience might be about to pay off. The number one player in the country, Shabazz Muhummand, has set a visit to Kentucky. Recently he visited his perceived front runner in UCLA with Kyle Anderson and Shaq Goodwin, but if Shabazz really is a UCLA lean then why didn’t he commit on his visit? This shows that the door is still cracked and that Kentucky has a legitimate chance to land the talented forward.
Still Kentucky is involved with the top 4 players in the class of 2012 and 6 of the top ten according to scout.com. If Cal can land three of those guys it will be one of the best in the nation again.
