Archie Goodwin Discusses His Top Five


It has been a busy summer for Sylvania High School’s (Ark.) Archie Goodwin. He has faced tons of adversity and questions regarding his play and recruitment.

“Archie Goodwin will be the first player to commit to Kentucky in 2012,” is something he has heard for quite some time now. But he continues to say those critics do not know what they are talking about.

“People can say what they want, but that’s not the actual facts. I will make my decision in the spring after my senior season,” said a persistent Goodwin.

While it is apparent his college decision is a long time from now, it didn’t take Goodwin too long to narrow his teams to five for official visits, as well as what school’s midnight madness he would attend.

Wednesday afternoon he announced via his Twitter he would take officials to Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, and UConn.

“Those are my final five. There are no other schools in the picture anymore.”
