Alex Poythress, a 6-8 power forward from Northeast (Tenn.) High School, has given his commitment to the University of Kentucky.
He chose the Wildcats over Florida, Memphis and Vanderbilt.
Poythress ranks No. 19 overall on the Rivals.com list for 2012.
