Former Kentucky forward and current Charlotte Bobcat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist tells the Charlotte Observer that he was disappointed in the way he played last season.
“I was disappointed in myself,’’ Kidd-Gilchrist said at media day Monday, on the eve of the opening of training camp at UNC Asheville.
“It wasn’t the losses. I like all my teammates, and we bonded a lot. I was mad at myself. I set goals, and I didn’t reach any of the goals that I set. All my life, I did that, and last year I didn’t reach one goal.’’
MKG averaged 9 points and nearly 6 rebounds a game for the Bobcats last season, he hopes things will be better this season.
“I want to get better at this game. I want to be an All-Star at some point,” Kidd-Gilchrist said. “And I want to win games.”
