Kentucky’s secondary took another hit today. Mark Stoops announced that sophomore JD Harmon will not be playing for the Wildcats this season.
Harmon played in all 12 games for Kentucky last season, recording 24 tackles and 2 interceptions.
UK spokesman says UK won’t specify why Harmon’s out, just he won’t be with the team. This could be one of the academic casualties Stoops was referring to Yesterday.
Fall camp has been going on for 2 days and Kentucky has already lost three players. Freshman
Alvonte Bell and Justin Day didn’t even report to camp. Bell didn’t qualify and no reason was given for Justin Day.
With an already depleted secondary Kentucky really needs Juco transfer Nate Willis to become eligible.
