Goodman has 5 in First Round

Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports has released his Mock Draft 3.o and he has 5 Kentucky Wildcats in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft.

Of course, Anthony Davis is #1 to the New Orleans Hornets.

No. 1

Anthony Davis, 6-10, 220, PF/C, Fr., Kentucky
The Hornets won the lottery and get the future star. Davis is a shot-blocking freak, but is also skilled on the offensive end — and can be a franchise-changing player.
He has Michael Kidd-Gilchrist at #5, which I think is still too low for MKG.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, 6-7, 232, SF, Fr., Kentucky
MKG brings a winning attitude and a toughness to the table. He’s a team guy who can really get after it on the defensive end. The Kings have enough scorers. This is the ideal fit

Terrence Jones at #19, which is the bottom end of where most people rank the big guy from Portland.

Terrence Jones, 6-9, 252, PF, Soph., Kentucky
The Magic already have Daniel Orton and DeAndre Liggins. Why not stockpile former UK guys? Actually, Jones is the best player left on the board.

This is the highest I have seen Doron Lamb ranked.

Doron Lamb, 6-4, 210, SG, Soph., Kentucky
The Grizzlies could use a dead-eye shooter — and that’s what Lamb is about. He can also back up Mike Conley Jr. at the point.

And rounding out the first round for Kentucky, Goodman has Marquis Teague at #27 to the Miami Heat.

Marquis Teague, 6-2, 189, PG, Fr., Kentucky
Imagine Teague’s speed playing with LeBron and D-Wade. Could be just the piece that the Heat need.

In my opinion, I think he has MKG and Terrence ranked a little low, but the other 3 are right about where they will fall.

What about Darius? Can he sneak into the first round?

All depends on the workouts.
