The Memphis Grizzlies plan to kick their pre-draft workouts into high gear on Monday as they host a number of perimeter players, including sharpshooter Doron Lamb.
Lamb will be joined by a few familiar names in Kansas’s Tyshawn Taylor, Mississippi State’s Dee Bost, Xavier’s Tu Holloway, Syracuse’s Scoop Jardine and Vanderbilt’s John Jenkins.
The team’s scouting staff is reportedly very high on Jenkins, but if Lamb is able to make a good enough impression, he may just convince Memphis to use the 25th overall pick on him instead. The pick is the team’s only selection in this year’s draft.
Darius Miller is also among the 25 or so prospects that the Grizzlies plan on working out prior to the draft on June 28th.
If Memphis decides to pull the trigger on either Lamb or Miller at No. 25, Kentucky will have a legitimate shot at putting a record six guys in the first round.
