Devin Booker has cut his list to 5 schools and Kentucky is in the mix.
The 6’3″ shooting guard from Moss Point, Mississippi, who gets daily phone calls and texts from John Calipari, is one of the top pure shooters in the country.
According to the Sun Herald, Booker has listed Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri and Florida as his final 5 schools.
Adam Zagoria spoke to Booker about his updated list and this is what he said about Kentucky.
Kentucky is also on the list and head coach John Calipari watched him, too.
“You can’t ignore what Calipari is doing right now,” Booker said. “He’s winning national championships and putting players in the league, so that’s what you want to see. That’s everyone’s dream to play in the NBA if you’re at this high level. So Kentucky, that’s a good look.”
It sounds like the Michigan schools have an edge being closer to his mother, but I think Kentucky is right there as well.
Update: Devin Booker has tweeted out that he hasn’t cut his list to 5.
I have not cut my list yet..

I would still consider Kentucky right there to get Booker.
