The Kentucky Basketball Travelers, who consist of players from Kentucky, finished up a win short today of making the quarterfinals of the 2013 Peach Jam.
The Travelers lost a tough one this morning in overtime to the Charles Matthew’s led MeanStreets 65-61.
The Travelers finished with a 2-3 record and were led by Holmes’ James “Beetle” Bolden and Perry Central’s Justin Johnson, along with Knott County’s Camron Justice, Lafayette’s Jackson Davis and Perry Central’s Braxton Beverly.
Reading all the tweets this weekend it sounds like these guys really impressed and improved their stock and I will not be surprised at all when more offers starting coming in, especially for the players I mentioned above.
The Travelers were ranked #10 in Scoring Offense and #5 in the Field Goal Percentage team statistical categories during the Peach Jam.
