You already knew on Tuesday that Anthony Davis was in New York and had taken a visit to GQ Magazine headquarters.
We thought he might be on the cover in a slick 3 piece suite, but it looks like they only asked him some questions for now.
Here ia an excerpt from Davis’ interview with GQ:
GQ: You have said that your high school team was terrible. What was it like going from that to Kentucky, which was one of the great college teams ever?
Anthony Davis: Yeah, never won in my life, like, ever. Except AAU, but even then we weren’t that good. And then when I was at Kentucky, we’d go on 15-game winning streaks, and I’d be like, “What?” I didn’t know how to respond. It was fun. I miss it.

GQ: What was coach Calipari like?
Anthony Davis: He’s great. Y’all mistake him for this devil, but he’s not that bad off the court. On the court, he got love for the game, passion about it. He can become real mean at times, especially when you’re not listening. But he treats everybody the same.
