Who knew our basketball team was so musically talented?
Earlier today Kyle Wiltjer posted a video on YouTube featuring himself, along with Jarrod Polson and incoming freshman Willie Cauley-Stein, freestyle rapping and dancing in the McDonald’s parking lot near UK’s campus. The video has gotten a lot of attention from various websites, and it proves that Kentucky basketball isn’t all work, no play.

This isn’t the first time Polson and Wiltjer have teamed up to release a lighthearted video for the fan base. In April, their rap commemorating Kentucky’s Final Four victory went viral, and has since received over 84,000 views.
This trend of players reaching out to connect with and entertain fans reminds us that behind their basketball superstar personas, they’re still just college kids enjoying their time at UK.
Let’s hope Nerlens Noel makes a cameo appearance in their next video.
