Hopkinsville’s Jordan Majors has seen increasing interest from colleges since his team’s Final 4 run at the Kentucky Boys Sweet 16 and will culminate in a highly attended workout tomorrow.
Tigers’ coach Tim Haworth called earlier to say that Division 1 programs Evansville, SEMO, Murray State, Western Kentucky, Wright State, Tennessee Tech and Austin Peay will be at Hoptown High School tomorrow to watch the 6’2″ shooting guard work out. Division 2 schools attending are Kentucky Wesleyan and Florida Tech.
Kentucky was said to be interested in Majors as a possible walk on, but there hasn’t been any contact since I spoke with Jordan at the Ohio/Kentucky All Star practice.
Here is the interview I had with Jordan:
Check back for updates on Majors recruitment on Nation of Blue.
UPDATE
SEMO will also be at the workout tomorrow.
EKU Head Coach Jeff Neubauer watched Majors work out this evening and Coach Tim Haworth said “Everything went really well.”
