Wildcats will play Wednesday at Lipscomb at 7 p.m. ET
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky-WKU softball game originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 in Bowling Green, Ky., has been canceled due to inclement weather. There are no plans to make up the game at this time.
Kentucky (23-8, 5-4 Southeastern Conference) will still this week, making its way to Nashville for a single game at Lipscomb on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. Live stats from the game will be available on UKathletics.com.
UK will return to Lexington following the Lipscomb game for a 5 p.m. ET showdown with Tennessee on Friday. The game will be played at the UK Softball Complex. Admission will be free.
The Wildcats stayed in the top 25 of both collegiate softball national rankings on Tuesday. UK moved up to No. 20 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25, while it stayed at No. 21 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25. This is the seventh consecutive week UK has been ranked in the top 25 of both polls.
