Madison Central’s Dominique Hawkins talks about winning the 11th region championship, playing in big games, being 1 of 5 Mr. Basketball candidates and the list of schools that have been recruiting him.
Hawkins had 18 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists as Madison Central won the 11th region championship over Lexington Catholic 67-46.
The senior point guard was also named the tournament Most Valuable Player.
