One thing is for sure and that’s the fact that Pastner, much like Calipari, Sean Miller and Scott Drew, is a great recruiter who is also seen as a player’s coach. While I would not be surprised to see him pick Memphis, I do believe that the young man will end up at Kentucky when all is said and done. Then again, when Poythress didn’t commit shortly after Midnight Madness, maybe Calipari foreseen the potential draw of Memphis and turned his eyes on Jefferson as one hell of a back-up plan (if it could be called such).
