Following Monday night’s championship win, John Calipari stressed that he would be out on the recruiting trail beginning Friday. While nothing has been said, we all expect Cal to visit Nerlens Noel, Shabazz Muhammad, and Anthony Bennett.
I swapped text messages with Muhammad’s father, Ron Holmes, earlier tonight, and he said Kenny Payne had contacted him about the staff coming to visit Shabazz one last time, but no date has been set.
Most expect Calipari to make an appearance in Portland for the Nike Hoop Summit this weekend to see both Muhammad & Bennett.
