I am happy with the progress Jones has made since Coach Cal put him on the bench. While Jones is a force to be reckoned with under the basket, he needed a serious attitude adjustment. This is a team sport and he has to learn to be part of the team, to pass the ball, not try and improve his personal stats in hopes of a NBA draft pick. The game against South Carolina showed remarkable improvement on Jones’ behalf. And credit is due to Coach Cal, who knows how to handle the players, makes good decisions, and doesn’t allow players to play just to get a win. He looks at the team as a whole and tries for improvement in the long run. Keep it up UK, the team is starting to look like a team, a true unit of blue power!
