Saturday’s game vs. UNC could very well have been the greatest mass of talent on one college court ever. According to Grantland.com there were 15 players who should one day play in the NBA, 8 of which who could go in or close to the lottery. And the NBA took notice:
NBA personnel who were present included: Masai Ujiri (Denver), Chris Grant (Cleveland), David Griffin (Cleveland), Scott Perry (Detroit), Kevin Pritchard (Indiana), Bryan Colangelo (Toronto), Ed Stefanski (Toronto), Kevin O’Connor (Utah), Larry Harris (Golden State), Ryan Carr (Indiana), Kevin Grevey (L.A. Lakers), Adam Simon (Miami), Billy McKinney (Milwaukee), Maury Hanks (New Jersey), John Treloar (Phoenix), George Felton (San Antonio), Milt Newton (Washington) and Dave Pendergraft (Atlanta).
In so many ways the game that the BBN witnessed on saturday was the most unique and wonderful basketball experience that I believe we have ever been, and may ever be treated to. I for one, am still floating about 6 inches off the ground as I type this and have no plans of coming down any time soon.
