Coach Cal responded yesterday to lawmaker’s proposal to require the annual UK/UofL game.
At a luncheon hosting state officials, Cal said [I]”I would hope they (lawmakers) don’t think I need help scheduling, I hope they have more important things to do.”
[/I]State Sen. Tim Shaughnessy said the mandate of an annual game was not the point of the bill it is attached to and was only mentioned to draw attention to the bill, which is directed at mandating better graduation rates and better governance.
