In the latest CBS Freshman of the Year Rankings, it is conceded that Davis is a lock for the award. But just for academia they run down the other contenders. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist falls a spot to #3, as much because of Cody Zeller heating up as his own performance. Here is what was said.

Zeller is heating up again at the right time. In the last two games, he totaled 45 points and 12 rebounds on 14-for-19 shooting from the field. He also knocked down 17-of-20 free throws.
