On today’s Road to the Final Four show on CBS, Charles Barkley went in for UK and Coach Cal.
Maybe its because Charles is a Southern ‘Gent’ himself.
Maybe its because he likes to play the antagonist, or devils advocate, if you will.
Maybe its just that he’s a smart guy and Kentucky is the best team in the land by about a country mile.
Whatever the reason, Barkley made one heck of a recruiting pitch for UK. He also asserted that UK will cut the nets down in New Orleans and called out the national media for villianizing Coach Cal over ‘One and Done’ and not giving Duke and Coach K the same treatment.
Alot of people aren’t fans of Charles and it has been that way for a long time. I for one was a fan of him back in the “I am not a role model days.” I loved how he gave it to Rick Pitino last year and I’m definitely loving the way he is going to bat for Big Blue right now.
Thanks Charles, BBN is definitely feeling the love and it is reciprocal!
