Mark Pope revealed on The Field of 68 with Jeff Goodman yesterday that he recently got a pedicure in New York City with “one of the most powerful people in all of sport.”
“So we got off the hot streets of New York for 25 minutes and got a pedicure, and sure enough, I felt like I lost a little bit of my manhood, but it was incredibly enjoyable,” Pope explained.
Pope wouldn’t reveal who the mystery power man was, but he described him as a great mentor.
It sounded a lot like Rick Pitino, but Pope chose to keep everyone guessing for now.
“Honestly, the best part was just sitting down in a chair in the AC for 20 minutes. That was the best,” Pope added.
