Santa Clara head coach Herb Sendek was upset after today’s loss to Kentucky because he felt he should have been given a timeout prior to Otega Oweh’s buzzer-beater.
“I unequivocally called timeout, but they didn’t grant it,” Sendek said after the game. “I mean I think the video evidence is clear, and anybody is able to pull it up.”
