Mark Pope was asked today about Yaxel Lendeborg’s claim that Kentucky offered him $7-9 million to come to Lexington.
Pope didn’t exactly answer the question. He kind of blew it off as “the circus” that comes with coaching Kentucky basketball.
“There’s nobody more surprised about what the head coach at Kentucky has done than the head coach at Kentucky,” Pope said. “I’m shocked by it every single day.”
