Mark Pope previewed the week ahead, shared some updates and gave some interesting thoughts on analytics during The mark Pope Show on Monday.
“I don’t know if I like analytics,” Pope said. “I think they drive you crazy sometimes, but you know is we pursue being better in this game, you’re trying to uncover every stone and so analytics are useful when they challenge what you’re seeing, that’s when they’re really useful. Sometimes they can be useful confirming what you see, but where the where the numbers really get interesting is when you’re surprised by what they tell you, and then you have to do the deep dive.”
