The great Oscar Combs, a Hall of Famer who founded The Cats’ Pause and is universally respected, weighed in this morning on JMI Sports letting Buzz Baker go after 37 years.
Combs, like many others, isn’t a fan of how things are going with JMI.
“To those who have bombarded me with texts overnight, yes, you’re 100 percent correct,” Combs said in a post on X. “My buddy [Buzz Baker] got screwed by JMI. No other way to explain his departure. There’s such a mess on UK campus now days, especially in athletics. JMI’s name keeps popping up. Not good.”
