Kentucky’s bench players combined for a +/- of -28 in Kentucky’s 86-78 loss to Georgia last night.
The four players who came in off the bench combined for 8 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in roughly 53 minutes of combined action.
After the game, head coach Mark Pope said he has to find a way to play the bench players more.
“We gotta find a way to get our guys’ minutes down,” Pope explained. “Probably can’t have Otega (Oweh) at 38 (minutes) and DA (Denzel Aberdeen) at 36 (minutes). It’s just ’cause our actual performance suffers as those guys get fatigued.”
